We’re delighted to report that cold plunging is having a moment. But because we know that in itself may not be quite enough to persuade the more cautious among you to step into icy water for the first time, we've prepared this handy guide.

Cold Plunge 101 – A Beginner’s Guide

We’re delighted to report that cold plunging is having a moment. But because we know that in itself may not be quite enough to persuade the more cautious among you to step into icy water for the first time, we've prepared this handy guide.

Sauna & Ice Bath – Myths Debunked

Cold immersion is being studied for its effects on muscle soreness, stress hormones, mood, and metabolic health, with early findings suggesting real (if individual) benefits.

The Benefits of Contrast Therapy (According to Science)

Think of contrast therapy as a gentle workout for your circulation. Time in the sauna encourages your blood vessels to open, while the plunge cues them to tighten back up, creating a kind of “pumping” effect that helps move blood and fluids through your muscles.

Where wellness meets community.

Built with care, grounded in science, and designed for everyone. Co-founders and friends Nat Canonaco and Alex Pesusich each discovered contrast therapy independently before joining forces to create…

A space designed for you.

ALNA is a 2,200 sq. ft. facility in Coquitlam featuring a 30-person traditional sauna (built by Canada’s top sauna manufacturer, Vancouver Sauna) and four cold plunge tubs, each custom-engineered for cleanliness and consistent temperature. It's a place where comfort meets intention, all thoughtfully designed for solo sessions, groups, and teams.
